By accessing or using DineHunter ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

DineHunter is a restaurant discovery platform that helps users find restaurants across Ontario using map-based browsing, AI-powered recommendations, and community data from OpenStreetMap.

3. Accounts

• You may sign in using Google or create an account with email and password.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You may delete your account at any time from your profile page.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to scrape, crawl, or extract data in bulk from the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
• Submit false reviews, ratings, or restaurant information.

5. Restaurant Data

Restaurant listings are sourced from OpenStreetMap and other public data sources. DineHunter does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of restaurant information including names, locations, hours, menus, or contact details. Always verify directly with the restaurant.

6. AI Recommendations

DineHunter uses AI to provide restaurant recommendations based on your mood and preferences. These recommendations are generated algorithmically and may not always be accurate or suitable. They do not constitute professional advice.

7. Paid Features

Some features (such as restaurant boosts) require payment processed through Stripe. All payments are subject to Stripe's terms of service. Refund policies will be communicated at the time of purchase.

8. Intellectual Property

The DineHunter name, logo, and original content are the property of DineHunter. Map data is provided by OpenStreetMap contributors under the ODbL license. You retain ownership of any content you create on the platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

DineHunter is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to decisions made based on restaurant data or AI recommendations.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
